1970s Long Parson Sofa by Baker – Duck Feather Down Cushions, Upholstered Couch for Reupholstery, MCM Designer Seating Vintage 2 of 2

This is sofa 2 of 2, we have two available and listed that are identical models with similar condition. Here is a very high end and well made sofa from Baker Furniture Company. This sofa is in need of reupholstering as it has fading and staining from years of use. The sofa is incredibly well made and was purchased by the original owners in the 1970s. It has a solid and heavy wood frame and the pillows are all duck feather down filled. It comes from a smoke free, pet free home on Sarasota Bay. Two of these sofas were displayed for years next to very large bay windows overlooking the ocean. Several markings and areas of fading mostly from the sun, please see photos. We have made no attempt to restore the fabric, it is possible this could be done. It is more likely that the sofa is ready for reupholstery. We considered getting this sofa reupholstered and then listing it but wanted to offer it at a steep discount which will allow the new owner to select the upholstery of their preference.
