This elegant French Louis XV style commode features exquisite marquetry inlay, gilt bronze mounts, and a richly veined marble top. Its classic serpentine front, cabriole legs, and floral marquetry paneling are hallmarks of Louis XV–inspired craftsmanship, making it a striking accent piece for any interior. The commode likely dates from the early to mid-20th century, inspired by 18th-century French design. The green marble top has soft, natural veining and a shaped edge that complements the graceful form of the wood base. Delicate floral inlay work and bronze ormolu mounts add beautiful decorative detail. Dimensions: Width: 25" Depth: 12.5" Height: 31" Condition: Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. There is some veneer wear in a few places (see photos) and a small chip to the rear corner of the marble top, which is not very noticeable. Overall, the piece displays beautifully with a warm, rich patina. A timeless and sophisticated piece that brings a touch of classic French elegance to any space.
