The chair is in good condition overall, with light markings and staining from normal use. The leather is soft and comfortable with no tears or major damage. The recline mechanism works, but the hand knobs no longer hold the chair firmly in a locked position. This is common on older Stressless models and is usually fixed by replacing the small friction pads, which cost about $15 online if you’d like the chair to lock fully upright or fully reclined.
