Decorative Empire-style chest of drawers featuring a bold Neoclassical design with opposing griffins flanking a torch within an arched panel. The case has a burl-look surface (decorative laminate/veneered finish) over a solid wood frame, accented with brass ring pulls, key escutcheon with key, and applied gilt figural mounts at the corners. Includes a hidden lower drawer integrated into the base. Strong visual piece with good scale and presence.

Dimensions: 48.5” W x 19.75” D x 36.75” H Good vintage condition with wear consistent with use. Surface shows scratches and there are a couple of edge dings. Drawers operate properly. Heavy and structurally solid.
